Rioli’s Rookies
BLUE sky, Sun blazing and a historic day to remember. In what turned out to be a great day (Saturday 3rd of October) for the Rioli family. Young Gun and Blue Rock Sports Talent Daniel played the 10am curtain raiser representing the Allies (Division 2 best talent) against the Australian Under 17 team.
Daniel setting the tone early for the Rioli family, running with pace and creating as much trouble for his opponents.
In passages that mimicked his Uncle Cyril later in the day, Dan had pace and flare.
19 disposals and 1 goal earned Daniel honours to be named in the best. Uncle Cyril later on want on to win his 4th AFL flag and first Norm Smith.
