Despite the Sydney Swans losing their round 4 clash to the Adelaide Crows by 10 points, our boy Toby Nankervis made the most of his opportunity with a team high 9 tackles and 11 disposals to show coach John Longmire why he should be a permanent fixture in the side.
Toby played as a back up ruck to fellow Swans big man Kurt Tippett and put in a great performance which should go a long way to helping cement his place in the team come round 5.
In other games it wasn’t so bright for Richmond or Carlton who both went down to their respective opponents by 68 and 36 points, was it wasn’t all doom and gloom as the young Daniel Rioli kicked his second AFL career goal which made all the media outlets and the Sunday Footy Show. Well done Daniel and keep up the good work!
We wish all our boys the best of luck for their upcoming round 5 games
