Congratulations to one of our up and coming talents in Tim Jones who was called up to the Northern Blues senior team this past weekend as they took on Port Melbourne Football Club. Despite the teams 19 point loss, Tim was one of the stand out players who amassed 24 disposals, seven clearances and a goal.
Tim was elated at the mid week news upon hearing he would be making his debut against Port Melbourne but was still upbeat despite the loss. Having played under coach Josh Fraser in the NEAFL for the Southpot Football Club before being selected as a reserve side player for the 2015 season.
All in all it was a positive performance and one that will have given coach Josh Fraser something to think about in the way of this weeks midfield selection.
All the best to Tim for the season and once again congratulations on a strong debut!
